Originally from Paris, France, Jean-Francois Cavelier has more than 30 years experience in international film sales and distribution. He is known among his peers for his strong communication skills and for his relationship-building ability. He held the position of Domestic & International Distribution Consultant for Comerica Bank (Los Angeles), Liberty International (Los Angeles), Pueblo (Geneva, Switzerland), and Syrena (Warsaw, Poland). He is an astute executive with a strong combination of industry knowledge and cross-cultural experience in motion picture and television content marketing and sales. 

Cavelier has been active over the past ten years in the acquisition and production of media content in Mainland China and Latin America as well as in the distribution of Hollywood content to the global markets. He acted as a Producer for the biggest budget feature film ever produced in China, “The Bombing” a.k.a. “Air Strike”, a WW2 epic film, negotiating the hiring of Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson respectively as Lead Actor and Co-Director. Recently, Cavelier was the Co-Producer of “Wonders of the Sea”, a feature documentary narrated by Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by Jean-Michel Cousteau. He is currently involved and has been for the past 18 months in the foreign distribution of a brand new naked-eye 3D cell phone called ROKiT.

 

He is active in the protection of the environment and marine sustainability thru the documentary films he represents. He also leads his Consulting boutique, The True Media Company. Cavelier has also lectured on a regular basis to film makers and producers about the business of film and television distribution – a topic most of them do not know about.

JEAN-FRANCOIS CAVELIER

Jason Kanjiro Howard is a Producer, Executive Producer, Director, Writer and Financial Advisor who is unique because he has paralleled film and finance for over 25 years.  He began his film career on the film “When the party’s over”.  At Loyola Marymount University, his 1993 short film entitled “A Confession” won the Jack Haley Jr. Award for Film excellence.  From 1995-2000 he was the Director of Development at Brainstorm Entertainment, a development and management company specializing working with up and coming Film and TV writers. 

 

In 2014, he executive produced the film “I’ll See you in my Dreams" which debuted at 2015 Sundance film festival which stars Blythe Danner. The film was named in Time Magazine’s top ten films of 2015 with Blythe Danner named as the Best Performance of the year. The film was made for under 1 Million dollars and has grossed over 13 million to date.   In 2016, he directed, produced and edited two music videos for the band Nicky Davey.

Nicolas Simonin has been involved in over 50 social media campaigns in the video game and film Industries. Working with Petrol Advertising, a leader in the field of video game marketing, he was responsible for social media marketing of top-selling franchises such as Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, The Last of Us. At the Walt Disney Studios he has provided in-depth social media analyses for some of Disney's most prominent properties such as Star Wars, the Marvel Studios and Pixar.
Currently, working as Senior Global Audience Insights Manager for Warner Brothers Studio Theatrical, Nicolas oversees the work of a team of 10 analysts gathering data for the International department through 10 international territories (France, UK, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, Italy, Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada, US) for all the Warner theatrical releases, such as DUNKIRK, Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, Detective Pikachu, It Chapter 1 & 2, Joker, Godzilla, Fantastic Beasts, Crazy Rich Asians, A Star Is Born, and all the DC films. Nicolas is also an active digital producer focusing on Elevated Horror and Thrillers through his company Derailed Entertainment.
